1840 (12 Oct) 1d black Mulready letter sheet (SG ME1) used without central Maltese Cross as it was evidently missed at Weston but instead received a Bath transit cds, a red manuscript '1' rate mark and red PAID datestamp. Patched hole at top left, unusual. Cat Â£550.
