A collection of 95 covers in 2 albums of 1841 1d red-brown imperfs with 3+ or 4 margins on clean covers, each with the plate identified & most also with explanatory description of the cover itself. We note 'black plates' 1b, 8, 9, 10 & 11 (these cat Â£2275) and comprehensive thereafter from plates 14 to 174 including blue cancelled, plate 129 on thick lavender tinted paper (Spec BS91e, stamp alone cat from Â£275), etc, also note many covers bearing pairs.
