An outstanding collection of mint / mainly never hinged & used stamps, sets, miniature sheets, booklets and covers spanning 1889 to 2018 arranged and annotated to a high standard and arranged into themes such as 'Actors, Singers & Dancers' 'Playrights & Composers' 'Theatres' 'Theatre Architects', 'Stage & Poster Designers', 'National & Folk Theatres', etc, etc. Copious amounts of interesting items in 12 albums where we note (among much else) highlights such as China 1962 Stage Art of Mei Lan Fang perforated set mint, both perf & imperf (rare) sets used, perf set on first day covers, set used in special folder, the miniature sheet never hinged mint with tiny fault at base / imperfections (this group cat Â£18,000+ in SG 2018 'China'), Germany 1933 Wagner set of 9 values never hinged mint (also a hinged mint set, a used set, the perf 14 set used), also an additional 25pf + 15pf ultramarine perf 14 never hinged mint (this group of 33 stamps cats â‚¬5000+ in Michel), GB includes a 1982 15Â½p Europa Ballerina imperforate error never hinged mint, covers include 1982 'British Theatre' fdc signed by Laurence Olivier, John Gielgud, John Mills, Alec Guiness, Paul Scholfield, Ralph Richardson & Bernard Milesalso, we see 2 volumes devoted to Goethe where we note Germany Soviet Zone Thuringen 1945 rouletted miniature sheet mint (cat â‚¬900, with certificate), a collection of 50 imperf essays, the 1949 miniature sheet (1 never hinged mint, 2 used different special cancels), a volume devoted to Schiller, another to Verdi etc, etc. A comprehensive & desirable collection which achieves its goal in depicting the great breath of human endevour on the stage and in music (1000's)
