Ferdinand Verbiest (Chinese naam: 南怀仁 Nán Huáirén, Pittem, 9 oktober 1623 – Peking, 28 januari 1688) was een jezuïet, missionaris en astronoom van Vlaamse afkomst. Vanaf 1666 was hij feitelijk het hoofd van de missie van de jezuïeten in China.
