- Year: 1847 - Condition: The bindings comes in half leather with marble boards and are severely worn. Both boards are detached and are rubbed, chipped, with scrapes. Lots of wear on the edges, small dents, nicks including the four corners which are very worn. The spine is rubbed, torn and very worn with some loss of the backstrip on the top. The front end-papers, frontispiece and title pages are detached as one. The pages are toned on the fore-edges and have the odd isolated spots of brown and scattered damp stains. Most of the engravings are toned and have spotting. There is a stamp stuck on page 361 and the book is complete with 867 pages.
