Russia - Bank Notes

Original archive album of the Russian banknote printing company Goznak from 1922 with title "ОБРАЗЦЫ ДЕНЕЖНЫХ ЗНАКОВ" (Samples of Banknotes). Included on the first 45 pages are Specimens of the state credit and currency notes issued between 1917 and 1922. All banknotes have the perforation, or the overprint "Образець", serial number "1234567890", or 001, or 000000, they are all firmly glued into the album and cannot be removed. Starts with 250 Rubles 1917 front and reverse Specimen (P.36s, UNC), 1.000 Rubles 1917 front and reverse Specimen (P.37s, UNC), 20 and 40 Rubles ND(1917) front and reverse Specimen (P.38s, 39s, UNC); 1, 2, 2x3 and 5 Rubles ND(1919 & 1921) front and reverse Specimen (P.81s-85s, UNC), 50 Rubles 1921 front and reverse Specimen (P.107s, UNC); 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1.000, 5.000 and 10.000 Rubles 1918 front and reverse Specimen (P.86s-97s, UNC); 15, 30, 60, 100, 250, 500, 1.000, 5.000 and 10.000 Rubles 1919 front and reverse Specimen (P.98s-106s, UNC); 100, 250, 500, 1.000, 5.000, 10.000, 25.000, 50.000 and 100.000 Rubles 1921 front and reverse Specimen (P.109s-117s, UNC); 1, 5 and 10 Million Rubles R.S.F.S.R. Short Term Certificates Specimen (P.120s-122s, UNC); 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, 1.000, 5.000 and 10.000 Rubles 1922 front and reverse Specimen (P.127s-133s, 135s-138s, UNC) and 5.000 and 10.000 Rubles 1922 R.S.F.S.R. Short Term Certificates Specimen (P.123s, 124s, UNC). A total of 54 specimen notes are included, many of which have separate front and back sides. Extraordinary Rare and probably unique!

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
