The "Hotel Provincial and Central Casino" is one of the main symbols of the city. Its construction was designed in 1937 as part of what would become the Rambla Casino. It was built between 1938 and 1940, initiated by the provincial government. Designed by architect Alejandro Bustillo and furnished in collaboration with French designer Jean-Michel Frank with House Comte, is inspired by the palaces of the seventeenth century rural France. Declared a National Historic Landmark. The casino is one of the world's largest, by extension, housing the Provincial Center Auditorium Theatre of the Arts, which celebrate various events, among which stands out the awards Starfish, dedicated to the activity teatral.100
