Bijzonderheden:
De Stenen Molen van Beerse - ook wel gekend als Molen Hendrickx - werd gebouwd in 1846 als opvolger van een houten molen. De kap en de wieken werden verwijderd in 1950. Kort voordien is deze opname gemaakt. Deze foto laat twee, even uitzonderlijke als opmerkelijke kenmerken zien: op de kap zit een windroos voor de automatische zelfkruiing en twee wieken zijn voorzien van automatische kleppen (uniek voor België). Beide systemen werden in 1937 aangebracht. Helaas functioneerde dit niet naar behoren en hebben deze noviteiten de molen dus niet kunnen behoeden voor aftakeling en uiteindelijk afbraak. De romp heeft nog bestaan tot 1992 en werd in dat jaar met de grond gelijk gemaakt.
