INFO: Reeds in het jaar 1210 is er sprake van een “Molendinum de Virsele”. Deze onderslag graanwatermolen op de Molenbeek werd in 1662 heropgericht. In 1885 wordt de molen grondig herbouwd. Deze jaartallen vindt men terug in de muurankers van deze opmerkelijke molen. Het ijzeren rad met houten schoepen is overdekt.
