One stamp of the s/s features Chinese soldiers chasing the enemy in a fierce battle and the other stamp depicts the celebration of Taiwan´s return to the fatherland(map of Taiwan, National flag of RO China, & Presidential mansion).

Cairo Declaration: Formosa (Taiwan) and the Pescadores, shall be restored to the Repulic of China.

The Cairo Declaration was released at Cairo, Egypt in 1943 by President Franklin Roosevelt of the USA, Prime Minister Winston Churchill of the United Kingdom, and Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek(CKS) of the Rep. of China. The picture of the upper s/s shows Chiang Kai-shek,Franklin Roosevelt,Winston Churchill & Madame Chiang(Song Mei Ling).
