SOUTH SUDAN Surcharged overprints SERIF on 1 SSP Birds of 2nd set,150 SSP black on gold overprint with 2 types of font for numerals (see illustrations). 1 SSP Birds shows Shoe-billed Stork (Balaeniceps rex). Due to a radical devaluation of the South Sudanese Pound (SSP) new postal rates are being introduced and the remaining lower values of the 1st and 2nd set have been taken out of circulation and have been surcharged.

Priority international postage cost for stamps in single envelope is euro 1.90 (or equivalent in usd) up to 20 grs. Till 50 grs is euro 3.50. Cost-saving combined shipments possible, please ask for latest information first. Official postal registry receipt is proof of sending. For FDCs and covers one has to add the weight of the packing material. Depending on your country's corona measures, there might be delivery delays.
