Rara ed affascinante decorazione da petto ovvero distintivo/brevetto per “pilota militare d’aeroplano” della Regia Aeronautica - modello 1935. Realizzato nella seconda metà degli anni ’30 in metallo “pieno” dorato da “industria privata”, su commissione di piloti italiani per le loro uniformi. Il distintivo è costituito da un’aquila da pilota simbolo della Regia Aeronautica “coronata”, con un bellissimo fascio littorio posto in orizzontale e tenuto fra gli artigli. Sul verso è presente un lungo spillo orizzontale con chiusura tipica dell'epoca, per questo tipo di decorazioni. Lo stesso è catalogato in collezione a pag. 172 del testo “STORIA E GLORIA DELLE AQUILE 1906-1946” a firma di L. CASSIOLI e G. DEL GAIS (di cui si allegano “giusti” riferimenti fotografici). Il cimelio in argomento si presenta in “OTTIME” condizioni di conservazione ancora in patina d’epoca con doratura molto affievolita, visto il passare degli anni (circa 90), perfettamente efficiente nel meccanismo di chiusura, senza mancanza, rottura e/o difetto alcuno. Misure: 75 mm x 25 mm.
