Printed colour postcard showing a view of Lion's Tooth Rock at Beresford Dale on the River Dove in Staffordshire, but practically on the border with Derbyshire and close to the North Stafford Railway.

Published by McCorquodale & Co Limited, not numbered.

Postally used on 8 September 1909 with double circle Alford cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Mrs Spilsbury, The Rise, Hogsthorpe, Alford.

Good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but long light crease to lower right centre.

My scans are high quality and include both sides of the entire postcard, including the corners. My descriptions are as accurate as my ability allows. All of the postcards are genuine vintage cards, unless the description clearly states otherwise.
