1931-86 DR SUN YAT-SEN COLLECTION album containing well written up, fine mint or used collection relating to the founding father of The Republic of China, includes 1929 State Burial set, 1c & 10c mint, 4c & $1 used, super range with a high degree of completeness of the 1931-49 first to fourteenth issues, first & second issues both used, 1938 third issue die III complete mint or used ($20 is mint, cat.£110), die III with watermark in complete set of 5 mint (cat.£125), also see nice $5 in imperforate pane of 50 (see footnote), 1942-6 third issue redrawn in single colours with $20 rose-carmine imperf mint, fourth issue onwards in mostly mint sets, also includes a range of these issues overprinted or surcharged for use in Provinces, plus later commemorative sets, note 1945 20th Anniversary of Death mint set in pairs, 1966 Birth Centenary 8f stamp mint (cat.£100). Collection also features a range of 1928-40 Banknotes, all depicting Dr. Sun Tat-sen's image and a small range of Red Army Topical stamps.
