COVERYv 14A, 16(4). 1855. 20 cts blue and 40 cts orange, four stamps. PARIS to NORFOLK (USA) readdressed to RICHMOND. Initially franked with 60 cts (20 cts + 40 cts) so is applied red postmark 15 / AFFRANCHISSEMENT / INSUFFISANT / 15 and to complete the correct franking apply three stamps of 40 cts orange stamps (120 cts) to double the missing franking. VERY FINE AND SUPERB FRANKING.

SOBRE Yv 14A, 16(4). 1855. 20 cts azul y 40 cts naranja, cuatro sellos. PARIS a NORFOLK (U.S.A.), y reexpedida a RICHMOND. Inicialmente se franquea con 60 cts (20 cts+40 cts) que son insuficientes y se estampa la marca 15 / AFFRANCHISSEMENT / INSUFFISANT / 15, en rojo y para completar el franqueo correcto, se aplican tres sellos de 40 cts naranja (120 cts) por el doble de la insuficiencia de franqueo hasta su destino final. MAGNIFICA Y ESPECTACULAR FRANQUEO.
