1950, Bauten, 4 Pfg., eng gezähnt, links Doppelzähnung, rechts ungezähnt mit Bogenrand, 6 Pfg. allseitig ungezähnt vom unteren Bogenrand, zusammen mit 60 Pfg. eng gezähnt portogerecht auf Einschreib-Auslandsbrief aus Babenhausen nach West Palm Beach / Florida. Alle Marken entwertet "BABENHAUSEN (SCHWAB) / 3 12 50". Rs. zwei Vignetten (Hawaii Nr. 1), Transitstempel New York und AK West Palm Beach. BPP Dr. Lutz verweist 1979 in seinem Befund darauf, daß die ungezähnten / teilungezähnten Marken als gestohlene Druckmakulatur nicht verwendet werden durften und die postalische Beförderung ungeklärt sei. Der Gesamteindruck ist aber der eines echt gelaufenen Briefes. Umschlag oben etwas knittrig, sonst gute Erhaltung.
